We ask that children attend a minimum of at least 1 short day per week, we aim to be as flexible as we can, according to availability of spaces to suit every parent’s unique circumstance and requirement.
Fees are paid calendar monthly, in advance and invoices are issued at the end of the preceding month.
All-year-round Fees
Fees are calculated by multiplying the number of weeks open in a year from September to August and divided by 12 unless your child joins part way through the year.
Term Time only Fees
Fees are multiplied by 39 weeks across all terms and then divided by 11 as no fees are chargeable during August.
Funded Hours
At ABC Day Nursery we accept 2-year-old and 3 & 4-year-olds Early Years Funding. From September 2024 we accept 9-23 month funding. Funding can be used term time only or stretched all year round. There are no restriction on the hours that funding can be used.
Additional Hours
Any additional hours for children eligible for grants are charged at £10 for 9 – 23 months, £9.25 for 24 – 36 months and £8.50 for 3 & 4-year-olds.
Meal and Sundries (Voluntary) Fee
Morning Session (8am – 1pm) – £7
Afternoon Session (1pm – 6pm) – £5
Short Day (8am – 3.30pm) – £7
Full Day (8am – 6pm) – £9
The Meal & Sundries fee covers the costs of all meals, snacks, milk (including milk alternatives for allergies) for children over 1 year old and nappies. We ask that parents of babies provide their own bottles, teats and formula milk.
Unfunded Hours
For all other children not in receipt of any grant funding, the fees are fully inclusive of meals, snacks, full fat or semi-skimmed milk for children over 1 year old and nappies if required. We ask that parents of babies provide their own bottles, teats and formula milk.
We are closed between Christmas and New year and for all official bank holidays. In addition, we close on the first academic day of a new school year for staff training and may close on the last working day before Christmas Day. These days are deducted from the weeks that are charged per year.
